Title: “My Family in the Midst of Rebellion”1. God’s Original Family “In MY original KINGDOM, there was a rebellion amongst MY first family (heavenly host). In MY Sovereign rule, MY image of family is always the standard.”Key Scriptures:Heavenly family / council: Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; Psalm 82; Daniel 7:9–10. ✅️Human family as unique image-bearers: Genesis 1:26–28. God has a real heavenly family (the host, sons of God, council), but only humanity is said to be made “in Our image, after Our likeness,” and given dominion over the earth. ✅️Humanity is God’s embodied reflection in creation—spiritual makeup and delegated authority mirroring heaven on earth. ✅️2. The Adversary’s Jealousy and the Fake TakeoverYour language:“In the mind of the adversary, he thought he had prevailed and obtained earth as his own. When I created Adam and Eve he felt as if I had invaded his territory (The Earth is MINE, the fulness thereof, and them that dwell therein).”Key Scriptures:The earth is YHWH’s: Psalm 24:1–2. Creation mandate and authority: Genesis 1:26–28. Rebellious spiritual powers tied to the nations: Deuteronomy 32:8–9 (sons of God reading). The satan resents that dust-creatures (Adam and Eve) are made in God’s image and placed over the earth he sought to control. Though the powers act like they own the world, Scripture is clear: “The earth is YHWH’s… and all who live in it.” Any dominion the adversary claims is squatters’ rights, not legal ownership. ✅️3. Genesis 6 and the Appearance of an Aborted PlanYour language:“When Gen 6 and 1 Enoch 6–16 happened it appeared to abort YHWH’s plan and design.”Key Scriptures:Genesis 6:1–4 (sons of God, daughters of men, giants). 1 Enoch 6–16 (Watchers’ descent, corruption, and judgment, as background Second Temple context).Early Jewish reading (reflected in 1 Enoch) sees Genesis 6 as a real heavenly rebellion: sons of God (Watchers) cross boundaries, corrupt humanity, and multiply violence in the earth. To human eyes, it looks like the enemy has “hijacked” God’s project—co-opting both spiritual and human realms to spread chaos and injustice. But even this layered rebellion cannot cancel the Creator’s ownership or His commitment to His image-bearing family. ✅️4. God’s Remnant Strategy: “Out of His Creation, I Created My Own”Your language:“Out of corruption I’VE always chosen a remnant.I created Adam and Eve: Replacing those who fell.I created Israel my nation in the midst of a ‘fallen world.’I created the church in the midst of a fallen world.Adam and Eve against the bene ha elohim.Israel against the kingdoms of the world. The church against all of the rule of the kingdom of darkness.”Key Scriptures:Adam and Eve as royal image-bearers: Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 8:4–8. Nations and divine powers: Deuteronomy 32:8–9; Psalm 82. Israel as holy nation: Exodus 19:5–6; Deuteronomy 7:6–8. Church in conflict with powers: Ephesians 1:20–23; 3:10; 6:10–12; Colossians 2:15. Adam and Eve carry God’s image into the physical realm, standing as a sign that fallen sons of God are not the future of God’s family—His plan is embodied, faithful image-bearers. After the nations are scattered and assigned to lesser powers (Deut 32), God calls Abraham and forms Israel as “MY nation” right in the middle of a world under corrupt spiritual rulers. In Messiah, Jew and Gentile believers are gathered into the church, a new humanity whose very existence testifies “to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms” that God’s multi‑colored wisdom has not failed. You can summarize this section in one line:Adam and Eve vs. rebellious heavenly sons.Israel vs. the corrupted nations. The church vs. all the powers of darkness.5. Abraham, Yeshua, and God’s Legal Right to His FamilyYour language:“YHWH chose Abraham to continue HIS original plan and design. YESHUA restored it. Now YHWH has legal right to bring about a remnant.YESHUA restores.Call of Abram after Babel: Genesis 12:1–3 (contextually following Genesis 11 and Deut 32:8–9’s division of the nations). First Adam / last Adam: Romans 5:12–21; 1 Corinthians 15:45–49. Christ exalted above all powers: Ephesians 1:20–23; Colossians 2:13–15. God’s earth-claim and restoration: Psalm 24:1–2; Romans 8:19–21. Teaching points:After the nations go their own way, YHWH’s choice of Abraham is not a plan B; it is the narrowing of the line through which His original design—image-bearing family over earth—will be restored. Yeshua, as the last Adam, succeeds where the first Adam, Israel, and the powers failed; in Him God’s image and rule are perfectly embodied, and His cross and resurrection disarm the powers and vindicate God’s ownership claim over creation. Because of Yeshua’s victory and exaltation “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion,” God has covenantal and judicial right to gather a remnant from every nation, forming one restored family under Messiah’s headship.
